Rear End Shudder
Called my dealer today to explain a problem I have been having with my 04 fx4. I explained that there was a shudder in the rear end when accelerating, and it has been getting worse. I reminded him about the TSBs that are out there. The dealer immediatly told me to bring the truck in tomorrow for a rear end clutch pack replacement. He also stated that they have done several already, and have been notified by FORD to replace all of the clutch packs on the 04s that are still on the lot....

shutter problem
Mine does the same thing, I guess. When it shifts down out of overdrive it feels like I am running over small ridges in the road like when you come upon a tole booth. The dealer flashed my computer, that did not work. Will have to take it back. Let me know how you come out.
