Can Anyone Tell Me The Value Of A Tailgate Thats In Good Condition?
I Have 3 ,2 Has The Block Style Writing And One Has The Script.some Guy Offered Me 200 But I Didnt Think I Was Getting The Value Of Them Or Even Close.
Any Help Is Appreciated
I assume we are talking the 64-6 styleside gate that for some lame reason they arent reproducing...I bought a 66 truck with a mint core support, 99% cherry hood w/squirters,no alum trim AND a 98% cherry t/gate for 400.....Im swapping hood/hinges, tailgate done already
truck has been for sale....go look in classifieds, its in there ...better be....it been a while since I put ad in...
Has anyone mentioned to our vendors about redoing the 64-6 gate ????
As for value of a gate...if its mint mint orig paint and all....I wouldnt go less then 300 myself. This is assuming gate has essentially lived in the garage. 67-72 gates i have found when compared to our gates are a dime a dozen almost....I put one on the truck i took the donor for my 65 off of and the dang thing is slightly longer....tight in the hinge pockets thus no side to side swaying
Old, moderatly rusty ones, with dents make great foot/head boards for kid beds. Obviously they'd need to quit jump'n on the bed. (Hey I'm selling my crappy dented/moderatly rusted gate for this exact reason. It could happen!! )
