2WD Escape in winter Question

Thinking of buying an Escape. Wonder if any have experience with 2WD Escape in Snow. Thinking of saving the extra cost of 4WD since I don't do much off roading. I do live in Michigan and they get the streets cleaned up fairly quick.

Thanks,

Pat

2WD Escape in winter Question

If you go for the 2WD you should do okay. I have a 4WD Escape and now live in CA, but when I lived in Colorado I had a Ford EXP Sport Coupe. The combination of the front engine and front wheel drive made it go well in the snow (only problem was the relatively low ground clearance). The 2WD Escape is front wheel drive, so you should experience the same only with better ground clearance for deeper drifts.

2WD Escape in winter Question

I just wanted to let you know how well the 4wd does in the snow. I was really impressed with mine last winter (live in PA). I'm glad I decided to spend the extra on the 4wd.
