Left Side Exhaust
Ok now this may sound a little stupid but here it goes. My truck for some reason has an inconsistent spudder-like like sounds when warming up. Now I've noticed the exhaust blows out evenly but then the left side winds up blowing more than the right side. Furthermore I noticed that my left side header bolts loosen no matter but not the right side. The uneven smoke puzzles me then the bolts loosening on the same side make me wonder if its some how connected with the spuddering noise I hear. I know this sounds silly but hopefully someone can relate to what I am saying. Thanks for listening.

When the engine starts, it starts out at a higher RPM for it to warm up quicly. During this phase is when you hear that spudder sound. The loose bolts on that header cause this sound.
A crossover pipe will help with the uneven flow. My dad's Truck has true dual with no 'H' or 'X' pipe and it also has uneven flow.

I installed all new header bolts and made sure they are all secured tight but I still hear it. My dual exhaust runs straight back from my headers so the uneven smoke is nothing to worry about? Well since my header bolts are secured tightly what else could be causing the spuddering sound?
