76 explorer paint options

i have an all tan 76 F-150 explorer(pic in gallery), i got the build sheet the other day in the mail, it says it came with Tutone exterior color-copper with tan accent, can anyone tell me or show me a picture of what this should look like, ive heard that some explorers came factory with racing stripes, could that be a possibility with my truck, its a styleside(i guess that means no trim?) if that makes any difference.......any help would be greatly appreciated..........

I know this post is a little out of date, but...

Here is a link to a 1976 F-series Explorer, Jade Green / white, with white "accent" explorer stripes.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...&albumid=11033

The Explorer was a special edition trim package, and ford changed the "accent stripes" every year or two, to keep the model limited. It also had special paint and interior colors not avaliable on the other models.

1973-1974 Explorer specials only came in three colors... bright lime, grabber blue, and burnt orange.
They had the "accent stripes" on the bottom of the trucks just above the fender openings. Came with bed rails, color keyed floor mats, special mag wheel covers, cruise o matic, air conditioning on package C. etc. Did not come with the hood ornament.

1975 - Again special colors, "accent stripes" changed to around the "dimple" midway around the truck. Trim options the same as 73-74, package a through c. First and last year for the "Explorer over world" hood ornament.

1976 - "accent stripes" changed to like the ones in gallery. special two tone paints for packages b up. First year of "Explorer" hood ornament. (simular to 1975 except the world was removed and word explorer replaces it.) Package options simular to 1973-74 models.

1977-79 - "accent stripes" changed again, still around "dimple" but thiner. Explorer emblem changed to above the rear red marker light, except on models with tie hooks. Options simular to 1973-74's model.

1980 - "accent stripes" simular to 1977-79's.

1981 - Check my gallery.

1982 - Explorer emblems and hood ornaments removed, Insted the accent stripe has word explorer, written into it. "Accent stripe" simular to 1981's.

1983-1984 - big accent stripe down center of truck with "Explorer" in accent stripe.

1985- 1986 - Explorer emblem back on bed. No "accent stripes". Not very distinguishable optional trim package, than lets say between XL, and XLT, for example. Last year of the "Explorer special package" for F-series.
1975 -
