Won't start ......................

'82 F250 won't start when turning ON the ignition, ONLY when backing the ignition off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Turn to start........just turns over, doesn't sound like it fires. Letup on the key and engine fires and starts or tries to. New distributor and ignition box. Could it be the coil or wiring harness?

Electrical Ignition switch under the column...needs to be replaced.

Sorry......................that's already been done also. I forgot......everything has been replaced EXCEPT the wiring harness and coil. According to the book, everything should be working fine!

im not being cocky but if thats the only things you havent replaced, why dont u just replace them?
