Front clip

Anyone know a good salvage yard (Michigan, Ohio, IN.) where i can get a good front clip for a 94, f-250 4X4 XLT with a 5.8 auto trans. Talked to a couple of local yards that make runs down south and they want around $700.00.
i need both fenders, core support, complete grille, lights, bumper, radiator, ac condenser, hood and the right core support frame mount.

What city are you in? Im also from michigan, I live in brownstown. I go looking through several junkyards every few weeks. I haven't seen as many 92-96 trucks as there are more 80-91 since they are older. Im still looking for a good drivers side fender for my 82 F100. I could keep a eye out for you. It might be tough getting all those pieces off of one truck, but im sure you could find them all off of several different ones. Best bet is just to keep on calling different junkyards. You'll get lucky since your truck isn't that old. Here's a few that you might want to try, they are self you pull it yards.

Sottiles Auto Parts 15196 S. Telegraph Monroe, MI 800-383-8524

Taylor Auto Salvage and CTS next door to them, just south of Eureka off of telegraph. I usually go to both of those places once every few weeks. They seem to get alot of vehicles in often.

Thats not that bad price if everything is in good shape. I gave 150.00 for a pair of fenders the other day and 100.00 for a good clean recently replaced radiator. With all the parts you need its worth it to pay a little more and get everything rather than run to a dozen different places trying to get everything yoou need. Also a yard will usually give you a better deal if you take everything at once. When you buy one part at a time they usually get more money. The 1993 that I got my parts from just came in and at the rate parts are disappearing it will be gone in another week. Clean late model trucks don't show up that often.

I live in Dexter which is just west of Ann Arbor.

Have talked to a couple of people that go down south once a month and pickup parts. These are the ones that have quoted me the 700.00. I think i will end going that way. As you say it will save a lot of driving for me. And the 700.00 is a good price for all the parts i need.
