I just purchased a 05 F-250 Lariat SD CC 4x4 5 speed auto with 6.0L PSD. I have been reading about these Predators. I know nothing about a diesel so will someone explain to me what is a Predator and what does it do? Is this something that I should purchase for my new truck? Thanks for any information.

Flash tuners....plug into the diagnostic port and reprogram ECU
Predator and Super Chips Micro Tuner (SCMT) are Flash programmers
Fuel Boxes-Capture the signal sent from the ECU and modify the signal
Banks 6-Gun,Edge,Instigator are Fuel boxes
Installing a Flash Tuner like the Predator or SCMT allows for upgrades from the original programmer.....the fuel boxes are plug & play
Hope this helps...

If you enjoy performance a tuner is a nice addition. The 6.0 diesel performs well at stock settings. The speed limiter can be removed by most systems and a variety of different HP levels can be set to run. When towing and using a higher HP setting the exhaust must be upgraded to eliminate the higher exhaust gas temperatures. Towing and 1200+degree temperatures will result in turbo damage.
