Rottella 0w40
I recently purchased 16 liters of Rottella SB synthetic 0w40 oil to run in my 2000 Superduty 7.3 powerstroke deisel truck. I did this because the truck sometimes sits for a week or so in minus 40 temperatures without access to a plug in for my blockheater. My concern is that upon reading the label this oil is rated CG-4 CF/SJ or Allison C-4. Is a CG4 rating what I need? It seems that CH-4 or CI-4 is what I am reading is required. If anyone can tell me the differance in these ratings it would be greatly appreciated..... THANKX
