Question new here

sorta new anyway....have been reading posts for a little while now and just registered....howdy y'all
yes a hillbilly redneck from the mountains of north carolina had snuck in amongst y'all and will from time to time offer my $.02 on things...
recently purchased a nice used 98 ford f150 3-dr supercab with the 4.2L v6
and 5 speed...very pleased with the truck overall but am smelling the sticky-sweet telltale signs that i have the dreaded intake manifold leak that seems to accompany the early 4.2s
have installed K&N air filter and foolishly(prior to reading about them here) have installed a throttlebody spacer...go-rhino full length step tubes...I run 265-70/16 tires and other than that am bone stock as far as i know....
get 19.5 mpg on interstate travelling at 70-80mph...not bad but would like to do a little better....
anyways, thanks for reading this and thanks for letting me join
