I have a '99 F-150, 5.4, auto, ext cab Lariat. 88k miles, no engine mods other than a p&p TB and Volant intake.
The problem seems to happen more often when the truck is cold, but when I'm coasting to a stop at a red light or stop sign, there is an odd low vibration noise coming from the passenger side. it's very noticable and is NOT the brake pads due to the fact that it continues for a few seconds after I've completely stopped. Anyone got any clues?
The only thing i could think of is your wheels are out of allignment, and the vibration takes a few seconds to go away. Sounds kinda far fetched, but might be something to check out. Also might want to check that everything on the passenger side is tight, might just be something loose ratteling around.
