Hey all,
Where in the Hampton Newport News area is a good place to get an engine rebuilt. I have a 302 2 barrel Ford Automatic Overdrive in my 82 F-100 and would like to get the whole engine rebuilt and done correctly. I have replaced the timing chain water pump but that was during the summer between the rain cycles. Now my right head gasket is leaking in the rear. Too cold to be out in the cold now. Truck is mostly original with the exception of the B&M floor shifter. Any help would be appreciated.

I would check out Performance Unlimited in Norfolk. When I needed my 302 bored & balanced, etc, I used them. They did a pretty nice job and are knowledgable "Ford Guys".

I second that. Dollar for dollar you won't find a better shop. I wouldn't go anywhere else. For what it is worth I had 5 engines machined there over the last 5 years.

Reason: forgot something
ha ha, I was thinking about that after posting it. No definitely not the same engine. I have several project cars going on over the past few years. Each engine was for a different car.
