diablo chip help
I just got my diablo chip for 99 ranger and i installed it and i don't think its working. I don't notice any power difference and i still hit the speed limiter at 104 on the highway earlier (stupid i know, but hey gotta have fun sometimes). Any suggestions?

ok, i realised that i skipped a step on the directions, and scaped all the excess stuff off of the connector. Now it will only start when switched to stock program. I don't know what lese to try.

First thing, reclean the connector. 99% of the time there is a no-start its because of this. If that doesn't do it, are you getting a fast flashing anti-theft light on the dash? If so, your computer is missing a jumper, per the trouble-shooting page.

Yes, you need to get it soldered. MotorHaven doesn't do that, but Diablo's warehouse, PDQ, does. www.pdqperformance.com - they have pictures on their site if you want to do it yourself.
