Hello, i was wondering Which one i should get? Im going to be running the rear axle on top of the springs and am going for a low stance.Where will the 3 or 4" put me as far as the rear is concerned.I realy dont want too raked of a stance.
Thanks
The rear drop is pretty easy to figure out. Take you current height subtract the diamter of the axle, and the thickness of the leaf springs and you have the drop.
As an example measure the height from the top opening of the rear wheel well and lets say you get 36". The spot really doesn't matter just needs to be the same spot every time. Now lets say the leaf springs are 3" thick where the axle bolts up. Subtract the 3" for the leaf springs because the axle is now on top of the springs and you are now at 33". Now the axle is also on top of the leaf springs so the axle needs to be subtracted also. Lets say the axle housing is 3" in diameter. Subtract that 3" and you are now at 30".
