e brake
1999 extend cab 3.0 ffv 5 speed man. Everyday i park on a hill with out a curb so i use my e brake. Now since it is winter my e brake wont dis engage because of the freezing and that is only part of the problem. After i get myself free from my e brake, alittle ways down the road i will hear a thunk and i can feel myself starting to slow down from what i think is my e brake engaging again. Then i will get myself loose from that from driving. then a while later another thunk and it will repeat its perodicly. Does this make any sense and what could be causing this to happening

Welcome to FTE!!!
I would start by lubricating the E-brake cable and the specified points for the rear brakes, if that doesn't work I would replcae the shoes, the stock ones hold more moisture than the replacement ones.
