biggest tire size

whats the biggest tire size with a level kit on a 2004 super duty. im thinking of 315,s will stock rims work or are they to thin?

I have heard that when you get tires bigger than 285's, you should get a wider rim. Just my $.02

I run 315s with a 2.5" leveling kit on my early 99. They rub just a bit on the inner fender liner at full steering lock. I have mine mounted on 16x10 Eagles, I don't think they would rub at all on 16X8s. The stock wheels are a bit narrow at 16x7, but I have seen many trucks in my area with 315s on stock wheels.

I run 35x12.50 16.5 BFG Allterrains on 9.75 x 16.5 Centerlines. Never had problems with them.
