Question Help me, please.

Hi,

I started removing the ENTIRE wiring harness and then realized that my electric windows were down. How can I hotwire them to get them in the up position? Thanks in advance for any help.

Alan

I'd tape a double layer of plastic over them and not worry about it at this point. Can't begin to admit how many times I've done something like that.

take off the window motor and lift with your hands and place blocks underneath the window mechanism to keep them up

i say if its in a garage etc, forget them, they can stay down, u also cant get locked out that way. thats how i store my Bronco in my garage. but if its outside, my suggestion is to take a car battery, set it on the floor, pop your door panel off and directly connect it. I just got my bronco on the 16th so i dont know how the doors are wired up. the motor will probably have 2-3wires, if its 2, then just conect positve and negitive to each, if nothing happens, reverse the wires. if its 3wires, find the ground, connect it to negitive terminal of the battery then touch the positive to one of the other 2 wires, if nothing happens, try the other wire. good luck
