Both Flying-J's in OKC area are $1.48 for gasoline and $1.71/gal. for diesel this Christmas Eve morning. I am surprised it went down from yesterday as typically they all go up on a holiday weekend.

Hope all have a warm holiday,

Bob

Prices are still way to high for my liking here in MI. However it does pay to shop a little. Three different Marathon stations in my area. 1) 2.19, 2) 2.15, 3)1.99. This variation is all within an 10 mile radius. The station that is now at 2.15 used to be 2.30! when everyone else was around 1.99 back when the prices were on the way up a few months back.

I still am extremely chapped at the fact the prices are higher than regular gas. What is the excuse for keep the price up now? There were many reasons for buying my '04 6.0L. A benifit was cheaper fuel cost and better mileage. I still wish I was driving the '95 Dodge with the Cummins, consistent 15 city, 19 highway. Yeah they are both 4X4's. ith the '04 I see anywhere from 12 to 14 in the city, maybe 16 on the highway. I am hoping it gets better as th truck breaks in.

Where did ya pay $1.95? I thought I was doing good at the Valencia/I-10 TTT at $1.99.

All I can say is your lucky you dont live in St. Lucie County like I do. Before the first hurricane in September I fueled up @ $1.71. By the second hurricane that hit us 2 weeks later it had gone up $.10. By October 1 we were paying $2.36.Doesnt seem fair, but with all the power trucks from all over the country and landscape /tree companys(like me) using diesel, its a justified way of price gauging.Today we are still @ $2.10

Gas in Lima Ohio (NW) $1.68 to $1.93 >>> Diesel $1.97 to $1.99 It seems it takes Sams Club and Walmart to keep the Shells and BP's in check in this area.
