what year for 300/4x4
I have a ranger right now and want to know what years the 1/2 ton came with the 300 and ext cab, 4x4. I know the 300 is a torque monster from heck. and will know forever, with the proper maintenance (like any other motor). the reason for this inquiry is I'm getting the same mileage as the 300 and really do need the ext cab (family of 4) and since I go haul wood and want to start camping again (real camping). I though a late 70's or early 80's would be perfect. I don't want too much newer due to emissions. I hate dealing with emmissions. So any help would be appreciated.
