brake upgrade

i am planning on putting 35's and a six inch lift on my 96 150, i know i will need to upgrade the brakes. so do i need to get a whole new brake system with rotors, pads and everything or can i get by with just putting on performance brake pads

I would try the pads to start, and if it isn't good enough, go from there. If you take the splash shields off the back, it will stay cooler, and brake better.
