Help! 2000 -or- 2001 with extra 45Hp ??
For those of you who haven't heard, the 2001 Ranger model "Ranger Edge" has been upgraded with 205 Hp compared to the current 160hp. I was planning on purchasing a new 2000 (XLT, X-tra cab, 4x4, 4.0, sport appearance group...), it was even ordered in last week. Now you can imagine my dillema. I've always been a Ford Fan so I KNOW I'm getting a Ranger but should I wait until March 2001 (lower finance rates)? The new Ranger Edge has an added 45hp, same front grill as the f-150's and a redesigned hood. The cosmetics are not the problem but the added Hp? All I can say is that my nights were sleepless waiting for the 2000 and I have to make a decision within the next 4 weeks.

Good things come to those who wait.If 45 hp is so important to you WAIT! In 1971 I started trying to find work in the mountains so I could live in the mountains. I didn't find work that pay enough so I could live there and pay my bills untill 1996. In those 25 years I could of gotten lots of jobs that didn't pay enough but I kept looking till I fond the right job.It is always worth the wait IF it is something that you realy want.
