electrical mystery???
I recently replaced my TPS(throttle position sensor) which the codes said were bad. I reset the codes and now there is a new problem.
Now the seat belt warning light is on even when the seat belt is plugged in.
And, the check engine and parking brake light don't work.
In fact the only lights that come on are the oil pressure and the ABS light as i start up. (usually alot more lights come on in the acc position)
Do these lights share a circuit somewhere or did i blow a fuse when i reset the computer. The reset was done by removing the jumper during the KOEO code test.
Any help,
thanks

Luckily the gremlin inhabiting my turck decided to fix the problem on his own . Honestly the lights just started working on their own after a few short trips around town. Maybe it has somthing to do with the PCM readapting to the new TPS and the mem reset ??? Sometimes i guess it just takes these trucks awhile to realize their fixed. lol
