regearing 94 2wd

i have a 1994 f150 inline 6 2wd. i just had it lifted 6 inches with 33" tires. its a total slug now! i heard a little about regearing it would help. i looked on my axle and the gears are 2.73. should i regear it and what gears should i choose. thanks
