nOOb Alert
That wasn't required Mike. Everyone here knows you're a good guy. And we also know your wife lets you come here to talk a little smack. Now go hang up your coat and put the toilet seat back down before you get yourself in trouble again today.
15 yrs, 20 yrs..blah blah blah... don't let any of these newlyweds lead you the wrong way... 40 years next June and I truly have the secret of marital bliss. Pay attention youngsters (John, Fenders, Frank et al) Here's what has kept me happy and out of the hospital... and her reasonably satisfied with the arrangement... ready ??? ok
I don't try to run her life... and most importantly...
I don't try to run mine !
hasn't failed me yet... 40 years and there's probably been 22 of the best years of my life... she claims about 12 scattered across them
as for the truck, the advise is sound... get her involved...but slowly and with easy tasks... not changing rear end dope... or holding up a top loader while you line up the bolts... nothing at first that involves anything that will damage her manicure.... picking colors and interior is a good start and they are much better at it than we 'unsensitive' types... besides they spend all that time watching "Style" and HGTV channels... put it to use..
Hey D ??? would Ms. Fenders do me some seat covers ??? I could pay her in abandoned Volare parts ???
good luck with the project Noob and as mentioned post pics... personally I'd like to see one of your fiancée ?

Seriously, when I mentioned a new fiance, the better half came in and read my post and I just woke up ! (from yesterday)
That frying pan will never cook anything in the middle again and I keep hearing some kind of ringing in my ears.
I too try to involve my sweatheart in decisions. I even offer to let her drive but with no PS, that didn't go so well because of fairly wide tires. Everytime I get a little discouraged, she will find something to pick me back up, maybe a magazine picture or something like that. Other times she want to go for a ride in the truck. AS with any old truck no matter how ratty, someone will come up and say I remember uncle so and so had one and I'm recharged again.Hope to read your posts again
