Aloha, was surfing the net for information on a possible purchase of a 1994 7.3 liter direct injection turbo diesel f-250 truck. it has 172400 miles. I am new to diesel trucks. If you can get the truck at a decent price I would go for it as long as the truck has been well maintained. My father just recently had to replace his 1995 F-350 Powerstroke that had 280,000 miles on it and the only problems he had with that truck were 2 waterpumps, 2 injectors, 1 alternator, and the tranny went at 230,000. Not bad considering that the truck pulled a 24' goose-neck trailer every day of its life. He would still be driving it had the guy that worked on the front brakes a month ago hadn't forgotten the keyway on the front spindle.....front rotor separated from the spindle and the truck went off-road to its demise. Good trucks especially if maintained. My dad religiously changed the oil every 5,000 miles.
