Dealing with holdbacks

I am an A Plan buyer. My truck is supposed to be here this week. My fleet guy called yesterday to tell me so. I had him fax over the invoice and it had the A Plan price on it which was $30860, but it also contained the holdback which was about $1076. Is it possible to use that to drop the price down further? I don't want to be greedy, but I also don't want to not get as much off as I can. Thoughts?

When the dealer sells it to you at A-Plan, they lose the holdback, the finance assistance, and any other "goodies" that they may qualify for. (ALL invoices show the holdback, regardless of how the vehicle is sold.) Instead, Ford pays the dealer a commission for handling the sale. Whether or not they want to give up some of that is their option, but I can tell you 99.9% of Ford dealers won't.
