400 Engine Project Air Flow Numbers
Yes I decided to pull a cylinder head off. I really wanted to know what they actually did.
Intake @ 28" water
65@.100/134@.200/173@.300/194@.400/204@.500
Exhaust @28" water
42@.100/76@.200/107@.300/128@.400/151@.500
Our exhaust did not do as well as "Fletch's" examples, but we did not flow the exhaust with a pipe and I know that makes a difference. Our intake faired a little better.

Those low exhaust figures really have a negative effect on the peak Horsepower and the high RPM torque. I used the new figures for the intake and the old exhaust flow data, and it shows some improvement over the original curves.
