How rare are old crew cabs? I finally got some pictures in my gallery. Any info on production numbers would be appreciated? I have done some touch ups on my beast. The previous owner painted the whole truck, put car seats in the front. I use it as a farm and hunting truck. I also have a 78 f150 4x4. The crew cab is so much more of a truck. 2001 Excursion and 96 probe complete my ford fleet !!! Crew cabers give me a shout!!
I was told they only made about 1000 per year... but with the railroad and forestry departments using them as crude work trucks they seem to be very rare now days. Besides mine, I have only seen 4 others in oklahoma. They are awesome to own and fun to work on.

I am 2.5 hour away from Cleveland. I am in eastern Ohio, 10 minutes from Wheeling WVa. We have a few hills here. I've been amazed how this thing climbs hills. Longer wheel base seems to help with traction but is harder to manuver in town. I plan on a retoration some day. I enjoy using it like a truck!!!
Crew Cabs are rare and hard to find they are either beat to hell or have been restored and sell for a butt load of money. TX and OR seam to have more than most states just my own opinion could be wrong. Went to WA to get mine it was priced alittle high I guess know that I know all that is really wrong but it'll be worth as I love this truck, and since it is over 30yrs old no smog needed here in the sunny state of CA which is huge when you are planing on restoring a classic. Well have fun with your rig and keep your rubber muddy.
