3.5 vs 4,5
This place is information overload...Learned more in three days than I could have imagined. Appreciate everybody's help. If you need any help with a 460.....
I have a decent aftermarket 3.5 exhaust on a 97. Will be adding a hypermax downtube & gutting the cat. It has already has a freeflow muffler. Will this be sufficient if I add a chip? Almost all construction hauling, construction trailer occasionally - 6k.

Gman - get yourself some gauges to go with that chip, and you should be fine with a 3.5 inch exhaust with a free flow muffler. You might drop your egt's a tad with a 4" exhaust, but I'd wait and see how your EGT's run with your proposed set-up. Sounds OK to me - as long as you have a pyro!
