I have a 1996 ranger 4 cylinder extended cab manual. I just got it and it was lowered. I re-flipped the rear axle with help from the forum and now am planning on hitting up the junkyard and finding some stock coil springs to replace the cut ones that are there now. I assume this will be a bit tougher though. Any help is appreciated and if anyone has a how to online or something i would likie to take a look.

You'll need a coil spring compressor. Actually, a strut compressor works better, and maybe the only way.
I had to use the strut set up on my F-150...imagine you may need the setup.

 

It's really not all that hard, be prepared though, my bolts on the bottom spring holder were a bear to get off. I used plenty of WD-40, and a torch to loosen it up. It also may help to undo the shock so you can pull the arm down further to shove in the spring.

 

what wrench did you even use to get to that lower retainer nut? I cant even get a wrench around the thing let alone turn it.
