Synthetic Oil
Hi All, I have a '97 Ranger, 2.3L. It has 50K on it and I wanted to change to Mobil 1 synthetic oil. Has anyone used synthetic oil and if so do you have any positive/negative feedback for it? Thanks, Rick

Synthetic Oil
I have synthetic oil in my 97 Ranger 4.0 and it runs fine. I have used Ams/Oil and Mobil 1 in several different vehicles and it has always performed well and since it cuts down on wear I run it in almost all my cars/trucks. I also run synthetic gear and transmission lube. When I used to live in Fairbanks, AK, it made the difference between getting to work or not when the temperature dropped.
