Greg, I'll add some details, it is taking quite a while to complete so pictures are pretty easy to sit still for. I plan on mounting the engine/tranny to the GTex inspired engine test stand betwix Christmas and NewYear. My son just picked up a new mud toy (1988 Cheep with 36" Swampers and 4:36 gears) so I will need to devote a little time and garage space to him too....
Your motor looks great! You know what really sucks though? All that paint will never last unless you are maticulous about keeping it clean. I had everything painted right up, and now everything looks terrible! From oil stains to rust, after the metals exposed. Mind you I had to keep mine outside full time so the elements really got to it.
