Help! fuel leaking
93 F150 FI with dual fuel tanks. I changed the rear fuel pump a while back (2 weeks ago, 2 tank refills)due to lack of pumping,I thought. Now I have this dangerous problem of gas leaking out of the carbon canistor at times. Meaning the truck will be running fine for a day or two then starts to stumble and as its doing this you can pat the pedal and it will catch up then die and go again similar to a carb or mechical fuel pump problem. When ever this happens I find the canister has so much fuel in it, it overflows. Evidently there is a device that is causing this. The truck runs fine until this happens. What could it be? I could not get a fuel pressure reading since this happened away from home.What is the control device inline with the hose from the air body and the canister?If this is the problem how could so much fuel get through and into the canister. BTW the exhaust is not black/rich at when it does it. Thanks
