ECT and ACT

Where are these things located on the engine? I have a 5.8, zf 5spd. It's definately running better once it's run down the highway for a while and hot.
Thanks,
Rob

ECT sensor is located on the front/left side of the lower intake. There is a stack where your heater hoses go into. The ECT sensor is located within that stack.

The ACT sensor could be located at the air box or on the front right side of the lower intake manifold. If it's a mass air motor then it'll be located on the side of the airbox.

Thanks for the pointers, I'll track them down and test.
