Skyjacker Z-link Suspension..............

Any one out there installed the Z-link suspension from skyjacker?

If so what are your impressions? Did removing the leaf springs give you more turning ability?

I don't have it, but I've looked at it and seen a couple of people on other sites that have it.

With 37/14R18s on 18x10s and 38/15.50R18s on 18x10s they both experience rubbing on the links. The one with the 38/15.50R18s when to either 2" or 2.5" wheel spacers to cure the rubbing.

Both had to do some modification to the brackets that mount to the frame rails in order to get them do bolt up. One was a SC SWB V10and the other was a X with the PSD.....there was someone else with a CC PSD auto that stated he didn't have to do any modifcation to the brackets to get them to bolt up.

If you are looking for a link setup with coilovers up front and are willing to do at least a 10" lift take a look at the One Up Offroad system.

Just my $.02

Disappointing.

Whole purpose was to gain clearance on the inside. Unfortunately I do not want 10" of lift. The Skyjacker is advertized as 6 but can be turned down to 5 to 5.5" depending on the truck.

37x 14.50 is the tallest tire I would go with but prefer 36x14.50.

Thanks
