A question of safety and those "things" in the back of a ranger super/xtended cab
Ladies and gents:
After having been out of the Ford Truck (or car for that matter) game for too long, I am in the market for a used pickup. My #1 priority at this point is the safety of my three year old son while he is in a booster/car seat.
Are the fold down provisions in the rear of the super/ext cab rangers rated for children who require boosters?
Am I correct in assuming that a bench (rear) seat is not an option on the ranger models?
TIA,
dk9

Most of us wish for a full bench seat and four real doors on our Rangers, but that is yet to come. lifted97Ranger is correct about that ability to turn the passenger airbag on and off if necessary. Not sure what year this started though. It's very easy to do. There is a little keyhole and light just below the climate controls. Just stick your key in there and turn it on or off.
