leaf removal

alright im swapping the whole set of leaf spring on my '52 f2 to a f1.... but i cant figure out how they are mounted to the shackle... any tips would help. thanks

In 1950 rear are different on a F2 and F1 . The front are the same.

really? it looks like the f1 sits lower in the front.

Let me rephrase that, on the F3 the rear leaf spring are not interchangeable by bolt on. More work has to be done like moving some mounts. The front will bolt up with no modifications. The springs on the F1 are thinner. You were working on the fitting part I thought that may be what you were noticing.
