I go to FTE every day, but I only hit the forums I like. I always visit General Non- automotive, General Automotive, Garage and Workshop, Rangers, '67 to '72 trucks, and '61 to '66 trucks. I often visit Inline Six. Much less often I go to 4 bangers, 302's, and Florida. I miss a lot of stuff cuz I don't have time to dig in to the other forums, and I get less response to posts on a lot of the lesser read forums. I posted a tip on sectioning step bumpers, but it got moved to Paint and Bodywork, where it belongs. But I know I never would have found it there. What do the rest of you guys read regularly?
Most of the time I hang out in the General-Non-Auto and General Auto. Then I check up in the 97-03 F150 forum, 73-79 forum, and the Texas chapter. Ive been to just about all of them though.
General Non-auto, 'cause they talk about guns & depression sometimes
General Auto 'cause some asks about GMC's & I know a cool GMC site
'68 + vans 'cause I'm looking at one with my name on it
Inline 6 'cause the van has one
FE 'cause we had a 390 in our '66 & I knew a guy with a '64 with an 8V 427
289 to 351w, 'cause I had a 289 & want to spare anyone the pain I had
Clutch tranny etc, cause my SMOD is making noise & I can't decide ZF or T5
engine swaps just to be a pita to guys asking about putting an ElectoMotive in their early Bronco
534 just to remind folks to measure the depth and use enough chain when using one of these
Some of the PU ones to tell people about a 1980s firewall flex TSB and to dash their hopes of putting a 2 speed rear axle from an F600 under their F350
vs. the competition as a dose of zealotry does you good
Explorer as I'm looking at one with my name on it and want to spare others the pain I had
Kansas, general non-auto, general auto, 73-79, towing. If there's time, Missouri, Oklahoma, and then the other tech forums. I've probably been in all of them at one time or another.
General Conversation (oh wait, that was before it was split in two. Dang, i'm old school). General auto, the diesel forums, inline 6, Ford vs. Comp, G & W.
I hang out mostly in the General Non-Automotive, General Automotive, Excursion, and Super Duty Forums. But I have been known to pop up just about anywhere!
Well, I think y'all know where I hang out most lately.
But, I do enjoy surfing through some of the other forums and offering any advice that I can. Such as: 4x4 & Off-Road, 73-79, Early Bronco ( owned two so far) and in general, I snoop in most of them...even a lot of the different chapters, to see what they are up to and what ideas I can steal and use in my own Chapter.
General non-automotive, general automotive, and 2004-2005 F-150 mainly.
I'll stop in on the 80-86 F-series cuase I use to have a few of that age and know a little more than the average squirrel about them.
The Inline 6 page cause I have ahd and worked on a lot of 300's.
The 4x4 page just to see it, few and far between visits though.
I'll hit em all at least once a month sometimes.
