5.4 liter,Lost code's!!!
I have a miss in my 5.4 liter engine. The check engine light was on and even flashing at times.The voltage meter showed low charge so I changed my battery. Big mistake, this erased any codes that could have helped me.Is there any way to restore, or retrieve new informatiion from the brain that would help me.

Don't worry the codes will show back up after a couple of drive cycles...and when they do ...go to autozones and have the codes pulled{free} write'm down then post them here.....hopefully well be able to help you...
plus the codes may have come from the low voltage...
another tip is to take a 9volt battery and use the cigerette adpter and plug it in...it will keep power in the system for radio and computer memory....for quick battery disconnects...
