I have dual 4barrell intake if your interested. I beleave a 289 cid and a 302 are the same. this one came off 289 if you want call 818-601-1812 ask for Dave
I think you mean 3 two barrel carbs. That is the normal three carb setup. Look at Hot Rod Carburetion's website. He specializes in multicarb setups and shows one for the Ford 302. www.hotrodcarburetion.com 56FUN
Stay away from solex carbs.. very expense and almost non rebuildable. All that I have ever run into where way out of spec and they just dump way to much fuel even at the leanest setting possables.. Weber is a much better choice for a single BBL carb..
I was looking for a tri-power set-up for my 302 and came across this old thread. I tried the links and can not find any info. I was talking to my Dad and he said they did make these back in the day. Anyone have some current info on where to find one?
Thanks,
Craig
there's a freind of the family down the street with a twin turbocharged 427 f.e powered 27 hupmobile that used to have a few of the ol goodies for s.b fords and some of it was genuine shelby ! let me see if i can run 'em down and see what he's got . he used to have a complete six pack while back including the oval shelby air cleaner.
ok i went down to jerrys house after my am run and he has sold all of his small block stuff. the only thing he had left was a f.e tri power from a 406 and he aint sellin' trust me i tried like hades to get it . so no dice . i know barry grant was gonna start sellin' the whloe shabang but no idea of when { 3x 2 intake , carbs etc. } . sorry .
You can buy them all day new from mustang supply shops. Carbs are setup and everything with linkages and fuel logs around $1300. There on ebay too. IM talking about 289-302 tri-power and quads. They also have big block setups.
Thanks for the info mustang unlimited has a complete set-up, I will continue my search and hopefully I can get lucky and find one at a show or might breakdown and buy a new one. Barry Grant said they were going to be available in 2006 but does not show anything for a ford yet. How cool would it be if some one asked what you got in under the hood and I could say 302 Tri-power :-)
