Hey, johnsdiesel

I read in one of your other threads that you replaced your waterpump. Did you do the work yourself? The reason I ask is; How did you remove the fan/fanclutch from the pump. I know it screws out of the waterpump but didn't know if it requires special wrenches or what. Mine seems to be seeping from the wheep hole & i'll have to replace it soon. Just trying to get prepared.

the water pumps are easy in our trucks just need that fan clutch wrench i got mine at napa for $30 it was labled ford diesel fan clutch wrench. it took a couple hours to do mine it wasnt that big of a deal. you will need about 12" strap wrench to hold onto the pulley at the same time

I didn't do it myself. I didn't want to deal with coolant disposal and I'm not fond of dumping that stuff illegally. It looks like barebackjake gave you what you needed anyway. Good luck.
