electronic throttle control
Anyone had this problem? 04 fx4 5.4,we had snow with heavy wind the other day, the truck being parked all day facing into the wind. I left for work 11.30pm and 1 mile from home the idiot light fot the throttle control came on and put the engine in limp home mode. what a terrible feeling that is, no power and when you let off the pedal it feels like the brakes are dragging. Anyway thirty miles later I pull into the parking lot at work knowing I'm calling the dealer when they open . I put in my 8 hours, come out and start the truck and everything is fine? I figure the snow and wind had to have something to do with this,took it in to the shop,dealer says if we can't pull a code they don't know. They did'nt get a code but contacted ford and said 
there was an update for the computer and put it in. Should fix it they said. Anyone had this problem besides me?
