5 tire rotation pattern?

5 tire rotation pattern?
It's time to rotate my tires and my owners manual only shows a 4 tire pattern but my spare is identical to the other 4 so I'd like to incorporate it so they all wear pretty much evenly. so I guess the question is; do I put the new spare on the front or back and do I retire a front or rear to the spare position.
I'm thinking put the two rears on the front - same side; cross one front to the opposite rear and new spare to the other side rear, and the leftover front to the spare... Seems logical I guess.

Yeah, I just realized that the spare wheel isn't the same as the other 4 so I'd have to get the rubber swapped as well, which I won't, so I'll just do the 4 wheel rotation.

I run a straight front to back rotation without crossover. Years ago if you changed rotation on a radial it would ruin it. Supposedly that is not true anymore but the people that tell you to do that sell tires. I don't take the chance and keep them rotating the same direction. I get great tire life.
