351???

how can I tell what type of 351 i have I have a 87 bronco with the 351 and a 88 f250 with a 351. I was wondering what type I had in both of them. The guy i bought my bronco from said it was a 351m but I was told they didnt come stock in the bronco and the guy claims it is totaly stock and he was the second owner.

an '87 would not have a 351M in it. '82 was the last year. must be a 351W.

that is what they said in the bronco section. I asked the guy before I bought it and he keept saying it was the 351m. so is there a way to check and find out for sure.

count the bolts holding the valve covers on.
windsors have 6. clevelands, 351m and 400's have 8.
