rear axle removal
I have a 66 F250 with the usual dana 60 rearend,I need to repair the brakes but I can not get the axles out. My 70 F250 has bolts holding the axle to the hub and my 66 has studs with some kind of retainers or washers around each of the 8 studs on both sides and I can not get them off and with them on, the axle will not come out. Has anyone run into this on their older F250s.
