What do your tires weigh?
Anybody with a 265-60-18 Lariet Long Trail, Have you ever weighed your rim/tire?
Odd question but there is much debait about changing from 17 to 18. I just changed 255-65-17 Michelin on STX cast gray rims, to 265-60-18 BFG Long Trails on cast Lariet rims.
The Michelin combo weighed 58 lbs.
No, I don't want to take one of the new ones off and weigh it. I'm hoping one you kind souls has one in their garage. Lots of takeoffs out there, just sitting.
I can get a generic weight but am hoping for more exact.
This is without the center.
Thanks
Chris

I got a response in the 'Other forum'.
But still trying to find out the weight of a Lariet rim with a Long Trail 265-60-18.
So far I have
255-65-17 Mich tire aluminium STX rim 58 lbs
275-65-18 Rugged Trail aluminium FX4 rim 72 lbs (with center)
Anybody got a take off and a scale?
thanks
Chris
