A few weeks ago over on the 7.3 forum I read a thread that said that IH is still producing the t444e and that it has the same turbo as the 6.0's with the variable vane turbo.
my question is have any of you smart 6.0 guys heard this and if so how hard of a transplant do you think it would be onto an older 7.3. since I have heard that the electronics of it are pretty complicated.
always looking for a new mod.
just thought I would see what any of you guys thought.

http://www.navistar.com/site_layout/engine/index.asp i searched internations site and didnt see any mention of a variable vane turbo for the 7.3.

I looked at it and I didnt find anything about the variable vane turbo on the 7.3. I did find some stuff on the 540 thought so.

my link was for the thread not the link to IH web site. I looked at there site and coudn't find anything about the EVRT on anything but the 6.0 and I think it was the 540 that said it had it too. Ohh well Seems that the EVRT isn't destined to go on a t444e.
