Got the HI-Idle switch installed today, like it just flip it and an instant 1200 rpm. Now is there a inexpensive way to put a timer in the harness so that upon flipping a switch the engine will run for a preset number of time after cutting off the ignition and removing the key? Any Idea's?

It is more or less a jumper under the dash from the white wire with the light blue stripe to the blue wire with the yellow stripe with a toggle switch in between. I read this on an earlier post about a month ago. I had to go back and find the post, so it would be nice if others could just go to the tech folder. If the truck is in park, just flip the switch an engine Idle's up to 1200 rpm. Its wintertime you know.
it was a post done by me1mcee. I did the mod also, it is a high idle switch. All 2003 and 2004 come pre wired from the factory for pto idle just not the hole in the trans. You just add toggle switch and hook up the two wires that are under dash and then truck will high idle at 1200 RPM. It is suppose to help with wet stacking when having to have extended idle times.
