Parking lights??

I have a 69' F-250 and the parking lights go out when the headlights are turned on. Is this normal?? This truck has been in my family a long time but I believe all of the lights stayed lit while the headlights were on (but my memory is fading with old age!). Thanks for any help

Yep! That is the way they are wired. You can change it, I am sure.

Only after 1970 did they stay on WITH the headlights.

my 1975 park lights go off when the headlights are on... truck is pretty much stock but I have installed a new switch a few years back. could it be in the headlight switch itself? maybe?
