Msd ???

First I don't want this to turn into a huge debate. I just want to know the pros and cons of installing a MSD 6A into my basicly stock (except for K&N, FMS headers, and flowmaster) 94 F-150 2wd with the 5.0.

Will it do any thing noticeable? When I bought the truck it came with it new in the box. Previous owner said he never had time to hook it up.

Should I bother????

mine made a heck of a difference 6 months later when the smoke rolled out of the box and the truck didn't run anymore. ripped it all out and put a DS in. if you are planning on cranking 7 grand your gonna need a more dependable spark but if its a DD stock will do fine

I currently run a Mallory unit and have run MSD and frankly I would like to think they made a difference but I could never quantify the results in re world terms ( this is a daily driver truck -never raced/dragged etc.) no improvement in mileage no real improvement in starting and if they fail they cost more to replace.
